A little about me.

Growing up I always wanted to be a fishing guide.  Not just an average guide, a great fishing guide.  I felt that to be a great fishing guide, truly great, you have to be a great angler first.  When I first got into this business over a quarter of a century ago one thing I noticed right away is many of the guides were not really fishermen.  They looked at fishing as a job.  The passion just simply was not there.  That has never been true with me.  I always said the day I become burned out on fishing is the last day I would be a fishing guide.

As you notice on any of my websites there are a lot of photos and videos of me catching fish.  I still fish for fun all the time.  Fly fishing, spinning rods, saltwater or fresh I love it all.  It doesn’t make a difference whether I am here at home fishing the Boca Grande/Charlotte Harbor area, the Everglades, the Keys or dragging my canoe to a secret pond.  I love it.  Always have, I always will.
